The course covers the principles of Aviation Security (AVSEC), operation of screening equipment such as X-ray machines, Walk-Through Metal Detectors (WTMD), and Hand-Held Metal Detectors (HHMD), physical search techniques, identification of prohibited items, behavioral risk assessment, response procedures when suspicious items are detected, and reporting and coordination with relevant authorities.
The program aligns with standards and guidance established by the International Civil Aviation Organization and regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand to ensure compliance with both international and national aviation security standards.
