Airside Safety is a course designed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and awareness of safety practices within the airside area of an airport. The airside is a controlled operational zone directly associated with aircraft takeoff, landing, ground movement, and servicing activities.
The airside environment is considered a high-risk area due to the simultaneous operations of aircraft, ground vehicles, operational personnel, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Therefore, effective safety management and strict adherence to operational procedures are essential to ensure safe and efficient airport operations.
