Course Format :
Shipping Battery by Air is a course designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills required to prepare, package, and transport batteries safely and in full compliance with international aviation regulations, particularly lithium batteries, which present significant safety risks if not handled properly.

Instructor Qualification :
The course covers battery classification (including lithium-ion, lithium metal, and other types), identification of UN numbers and Proper Shipping Names, packing instructions, marking and labeling requirements, documentation procedures, quantity limitations, transport as passenger baggage or cargo, short-circuit prevention measures, and emergency response procedures in case of incidents.

IParticipant and Qualification :

The program aligns with the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) issued by the International Air Transport Association and the Technical Instructions published by the International Civil Aviation Organization to ensure compliance with international aviation safety standards.

Objective :

Proper battery handling is critical to preventing fire hazards, minimizing risks to aircraft and personnel, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance in air transport operations.
